Maybe he assumed that people would be smart enough to not instantly think an Air Force One replica, escorted by two figter jets, would be making a bee-line for a building full of blonde-haired blue-eyed Christians.

Does anyone really think this Air Force promotional job was coordinated by Barack Obama? Some stupid ad agency came up with this. The commander in charge (soon to be demoted, in all likelihood) didn't have enough common sense to notify local authorities.

Using Air Force 1 too! This might be the biggest snafu of his admin thus far (all the tax dodging appointees and vacant spots still in HHS and Treasury also stand out though). WTF fuck kind of photo op uses air force 1 and a f16 flying low in the same are where planes flew into the World Trade Centers?

Government genius never ceases to amaze and amuse.

This was a DOD operation, you should be worried or at least concerned. These folks have done worse.

A department runned primarily by men. They are dangerous when they try to think with their upper heads, their egos are dominant and they believe they are untouchable.

1. Spunky, that is the stupidest fucking thing I've ever read, and I'm turning the ignore function back on.

2. Everyone, chill the fuck out.

This was a bad decision in light of the current state of the world, but would there have been such a huge uproar about this under the Clinton administration, or pre-9/11 Bush's? No.

The goal of terrorism is to change a people's or country's way of life through fear, and that is exactly what happened. They shouldn't have edited the buildings out of the first Spider-man movie, and people sure as fuck shouldn't be thinking that the Muslims were after us again because of this.

They get the same publications and have access to the same media we do, and the message we're sending them right now is, "we're still scared as shit that you're going to attack us again."

-1 to the FAA for not notifying the public about it, -10 to the public for reacting like a bunch of scared little bitches.

I guess nobody remembers the Bush administration pulling a similar stunt in the months after 9/11 in Vienna. I personally witnessed a commercial airliner escorted by two fighter jets over Vienna sometime soon after 9/11--it was some kind of training mission or publicity stunt. I'll see if I can find the article.

What's wrong numb-nuts, you can't handle the truth?

The fact is DOD is responsible for this stunt.

I believe I saw MsMephisto or 496 running lose in a grocery store in Ireland, along with the entire world. If you can't handle the truth bury your head in the sand, check it out or are you two afraid of reality?

This kind of hardness and ignorance is why we are in such a sad state of affairs in our world today. I am not the only one that feels the male gender has dropped the ball...

But then again your response here has said it all...so typical and ugly...this is all your small minds know.

Our govt was involved in 9/11. There's no other reason Atta would have been at one of our military VIP functions, except for the Brits. But they might as well be one in the same. We should never have gone into Iraq and the only reason we are in Afganistan is because of Israel. This is not our fight and it's not the good fight.

Seriously...Those terrorists haven't done anything to scale of 9/11, since. Their previous efforts to attack the Towers was humble at best compared to 9/11. We killed our own for oil and to protect the Jews. Neither one justifies the killing and maning of our own. But with power and money comes control.

Now chew on that for awhile, no this is to difficult for the feebleminded to wrap their little minds around. That's why our govt. felt comfortable enough to do such a horrible thing.

There are so many others in America who have similar information which continues to actually fuel these theories, the truth can't be ignored, as I totally ignore your crap here.

I believe that was a cow in the grocery store. That's a bull who lost it's balls, like you. Strong people do, whimps dump here.

Just like who cares what you or the other num-nutts think here. I am in alot of good company in what I know, it's not like there's just a handful who think along these lines, how do you explain the numbers if there wasn't something to it.

They know everything you say and do. They know every key you press. I would cover all your windows with tin foil asap to stop them from reading your brain waves. Hanging coat hangers all over the place is good too.

Do you really think that men are solely responsible for this? That sounds like you are downplaying the role of women in our country. Aren't your beliefs a little sexist towards women?

I agree that our country has problems, ol' spunk; the government's power is always growing, people are plagued with greed, apathy, and, worst of all, fear. You seem very passionate about your beliefs, so I give you some credit, but do you really think the approach you're taking is actually helping to improve the situation? There certainly are people with their heads in the sand, but I don't see how kicking more sand in their face solves the problem.

Good luck everybody... and remember, "we're all in it together!"

Irrelevant. That's like saying if you weren't in Vietnam, you have to be completely sympathetic to everyone that was, and never do anything that might remind someone of the Vietnam war. How can we, as a nation, move on from this if we refuse to get over it?

I didn't say "New Yorkers," I said the public. The only people that really have a right to be upset by this are the people in office buildings that had to watch the plane fly at them. Everyone else needs to change their brand of shampoo.

Good god man,
I should've done a search for Spunky before I responded to her with a serious message. I actually thought I might be able to have a rational discussion with her...

Spunky,
It appears to me that you don't mean most of what you say, you are just trying to get people to react to your posts. I could be wrong, but why did you disregard my post by calling me "gravis" and then posting the included non-sense response?

I am not gravis I don't even know what a gravis is... I don't see how bold lettering makes my argument less valid.

LOL! Spunky is either a troll playing a mentally ill woman or is seriously messed up in real life.

You're probably new, but long story short, she thinks most of Fairfax Underground is the same person under dozens of screen names. One time she accused everyone of being Elliott in the Morning. Doesn't make sense, but neither do her posts.

I think it's cute how you like to play pretend. Keep that up; a healthy imagination will help you when you're an adult.

There's too much unintentional gold buried in the middle of her posts to be a troll. Its just too real.

Alias, if Bush had done this you wouldn't give a shit.

You're a Republican searching for missteps by a Democrat, and if this is the best (worst?) you can come up with, you're scraping the barrel with things that no one outside the C-SPAN or Limbaugh listeners is going to really care about.
