Are you really playing the race card here? It was no hate crime. It was a robbery. He didn't post his picture so they had no idea who they were meeting. They were there to rob and got $40 and he paid for his life for cheating and so will this girl for killing him for $40!

So why did Ms Gallmon think there would be a lot of cash? If Gallmon was desperate for cash there are hundreds of better ways to do it. I still think there is more to this bizarre tragic case.

Perhaps, in their e-mail exchanges prior to the hook-up, she found out he was a lawyer and assumed he carried a lot of cash.

But, in general, it makes no sense. As you indicated, it would make more sense if she posed as a male hooker and, for example, had pre-arranged a $300 fee, which she intended on stealing.

Maybe she's just stupid. She's a 21 year old with a high school education at a bad school, and perhaps doesn't know that not all lawyers are wealthy and certainly not all lawyers carry a lot of cash.

I am appalled at this verdict today. Just because the bitch pleads guilty does not mean this is second degree murder. This was first degree. She now is looking at 10 to 25 years in prison. I hope the judge gives her 25. I was hoping for life. This is your classic case of gays being killed does not matter! Terrible injustice.
