what a pitty. Having rushed to visit a parent about to die I have to say it could have gone down quite differently - a very primal part of the human experience. The son-in-law did his job. He got them there in time and played interference with the hapless cop. His inlaws should be thankful. If he had freaked they all would have been delayed.

the sad thing is that this has to happen to someone famous before anybody does anything about it. if this had been joe shmoe, you would never have heard of this incident and the cop would not even be told he shouldnt do that.
