Spankin Time racer, Joel Highsmith’s 1012hp winged 2008 Dodge Challenger was stolen from his shop this past weekend, along with the matching red and black trailer.
2008 dodge challenger texas mile stolen 300x164 imageFrom what witnesses have said, on Sunday evening, while the San Bernardino, California shop was closed, two men in a lifted, white Ford F350 broke the lock on the trailer, hooked up and hauled out, taking Joel’s 196mph car along for the ride. Stealing cars is one of the lowest of lowlife things to do, so we want to see Joel get his car back, especially since he thinks it should run well over 200mph, and we want him to get a chance to prove it! He should be able to, fellow team member Jesse Iwuji’s 200mph Challenger impressed us plenty during our Mojave Mile pony car shootout.
