As many residents of Fairfax County can remember, at latter part of his life, Brian Fairfax (1736-1802) became an ordained priest. Lord Fairfax was a boyhood friend of George Washington (1732-1799) and remained a friend to visit at Mt. Vernon in the last days 1799. In some places in Fairfax County, VA haunting presence of Lord Fairfax can be felt as winds blows in old historic places of Fairfax County such as the cemetery of Mt. Vernon.
