So.....all this talk about phantom cell phones; people being able to call passengers' phones. Can't the authorities triangulate the receiving phones' location?

I don't understand all the controversy over this. Just because the phone rings doesn't mean anything. When you call someone's cell phone the network starts searching for their location while the phone rings. If it can't find them on the network it rolls to voicemail.

This "voicemail" that it rolls to. Sounds interesting. How can we make this a conspiracy theory?

This whole plane disappearance is just some viral marketing campaign for some new JJ Abrams movie coming out this summer.

Well now that makes sense. Those minutes actually roll-over into the life hereafter.

Anyone remember this low budget film called Millennium? It was about time travelers from a post-apocalyptic future that took passengers seconds before plane crashes and used them to repopulate the future Earth.

Kristofferson, a chain smoking Cheryl Ladd and a robot that was once on Hill Street Blues?

Never heard of it.

Originally a book by John Varley as I recall. But he has disavowed all knowledge of the film.
