Schultz, a Republican who has made ballot security his signature issue since taking office in 2011, struck a two-year deal with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation in July 2012 to assign an agent full time to investigating voter fraud cases.

Since then, according to figures provided by the secretary’s office, the effort has yielded criminal charges in 16 cases, of which five have resulted in guilty pleas and five have been dismissed. None of the cases has, as yet, gone to trial. The DCI has been paid $149,200 for its efforts so far and could receive up to $280,000 out of the secretary of state’s budget.

Schultz said the investigations have proved the existence of voter fraud in Iowa and bolstered his case for more scrutiny at the polls and verification of voters.

Three were felons not allowed to vote, one which waant a U.S. citizen. One lady voted absentee on behalf of her daughter. And ome was identity theft.

Only five cases, two of which are the reasons being flaunted for the voting rules changes.

So tell me how a politically motivated head hunt only turns up two cases of the vote fraud they were looking for statewide and that proves the Republican point?

I think you proved yourself wrong again. Try again.

If you can't win it, rig it.

Oh and "massive vote fraud?" Really you have 5 people. One lady voted absentee for her daughter and 2 were felons and citizens trying to vote. What meets the threshold for "massive vote fraud" these days lol.

Oh and by the way, Virginia is the most bellweather state in the country. All these tactics were tried i this state. Less voting machines per capita in Democratic precincts, voter purges, voter ID laws, last minute ballot counting rules changes.

All of the above, the only thing that has occured is when you tried to take away peoples voting rights, they came out and voted even more.

So go ahead with your voter siphoning pipe dream. It will keep you fro focusing on actually winning votes and ruin your reputations and deem you undemocratic.
