Today was a code brown day. I hope yours was better, as I spent vast amounts of time on the groan throne, trying to get my bowels to kick start like a stubborn old tractor. Tis a shame my bowels betrayed me, but the midwives were able to help with the birthing process.

I had a pretty crummy day as well. It started off okay, but at the workplace I felt my stomach start to hurt after lunch at Cheyv's. Their food is delicious, but the results were pretty awful when thought about. It didn't take long.As soon as I got back to my cube, I felt a twinge. It was right there, that I had to high tail it, and while glad to have gotten away with it, I don't think the people in other stalls were happy about it.

The cold metal table, the disdain, and frigid thick fingers rear their ugly head.

This is a good group for IBS. This came up on a search, and I feel as if, I have people who understand my pain. Like a lot of you I've tried everything.
My doctor is a pretty nice guy. He's helped some, but there still is pain, embarrassing moments, and a lot of cramping. It's good to know there are others. When was this started?

Anon Doc has no answer when IBS sufferers don't happen to respond to standardized treatment.
Anon Doc also has no response to the insensitive treatment we receive from his smelly fingered peers.

Hi guys. No easy way to say this. Some problems were noted by the doctor who gave me my colonoscopy. My bloodwork did not show any issues but I have a tumor in me and it has spread, it is cancer. They want me to heal from the exploratory surgery for a while and come up with a plan. I have come to terms with the fact that I am a goner. Two of my sisters are helping me and I made my will yesterday. I am sicker some days than others. Just wanted to thank you all. I will try to post again or my sister will let you know when Im gone.

It appears the groan throne will be making an appointment soon. I did install new towel and a device to bite down on, along with to squeeze in between contractions.

The bottom of my starfish is swollen up. It looks like pork rinds with blood and chocolate mixed up. The midwives assured me no stitches were needed, but the amount of blood loss was staggering.

Hi all. Someone regisrered my name so im using a upper case i instead of l in my name. In about a month I am getting a colostomy and having one kidney removed and then some radiation treatments. Doc says I have a 70% chance of survival. I am hurting bad and am on pain meds. Thank God I have good health insurance and a disability plan that kicks in after I have been out of work for 90 days. If I survive this I will be brown bagging it and will never have to take a dump again. My boss says he will fix it so I wont travel for work anymore so I feel really blessed. My co-workers have donated 40 sick days to me as well. All things considered I feel like a very lucky guy. Even my friend that is a girl but not my girlfriend is grocery shopping for me and calling me a couple times a day.
