WoW I just looked those cities up on Google and they seem like a desolate, barren lands. Very sparsely populated and under developed. But each to their own I guess Eesh.

Slab City is basically a homeless camp. Poor people park their trailers there and it's filled with drifters and folks who live on the road and don't fit in with polite society.

I own a nice house in El Segundo. The good thing about this property is that I am in a city that kinda resembles downtown Arlington or Ballston and it rarely heats up above 70 degrees in the middle of summer. Plus, it's close enough to the Pacific Ocean so that I can smell the ocean breeze wafting in daily.
The only downside is that I need to get accustomed to the sounds of jumbo jets taking off from Los Angeles International Airport.
