So the pitcher's upset cuz Bryce slugged a homer on him, and his way of dealing with it is to intentionally hit the guy with a pitch? Fuck that, I wish Harper would've ran out there and slugged him in the face for being an asshole. Same crap happened last year when Cole Hamels beaned Harper after he hit a homer. The dude is regularly targeted by pitchers, he's got a right to get all fired up. A 90 mph fastball isn't something you can just shrug off like a mosquito bite.

I was impressed that Harper didn't charge the mound and both teams didn't get into huge brawl. I have no idea how Harper was able to walk to first base. It was almost beamed right in the knee with 94 mph fastball.

One of the announcers, FP, was saying that the Nationals pitcher should beam back an A's batter. I disagree. There's no place in baseball for beaming batters intentionally.

I applaud Harper restraint.
