“Neal Schon has supposedly made such meager payments to Amber Kozan, the mother of two of his daughters, that she is putting her $500,000 home on the market,” a source reveals to Daily Mail. “Amber cannot even buy food, pay her bills or put gas in her car because she is so hard up.
“He claims to love his daughters, but actions speak louder than words. Because this “man” decided to renege on his word (in the 11th hour) his girls will be without a home, soon. This “man” seems to think that being a father, simply means you send a check every month, that’s it. No involvement, no interest, no visits, no caring, no nothing.”
“How is it that a man can simply turn his back on the 2 little girls that still love him?” Judy adds. “Playing head games with his ex-wife, at the expense of his children. He can’t think outside of himself long enough to consider the possible lasting psychological effects his actions will have on his 2 daughters.”
edit by Cary: Added "[Likely libelous - Legal Challenge]" to the subject line. This post has come under legal challenge for being false and defamatory. The original [linked] article has been removed, likely as a result of the legal challenge. As material which does not violate the rules is never removed from Fairfax Underground I will reproduce the attorney's request below.

Dear Cary W,
I am litigation counsel for Neal Schon. Please immediately remove the
false and defamatory post at the following link:
*
http://www.fairfaxunderground.com/forum/read/40/1121106/1122238.html*
As shown, the post was based on a false and defamatory story on the
Starcasm website which was removed yesterday:
http://starcasm.net/?p=201016
In fact, the Daily Mail story upon which the Starcasm piece relied has also
been removed:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2282650/Neal-Schon-Journey-guitarist-Neal-Schon-deadbeat-dad-left-ex-wife-daughters-broke-buy-food.html
The bottom line is that the idea of Neal Schon being a "deadbeat dad" is
false and defamatory. He has paid his ex-wife and children over $1.3
million is support over the past five years, and a judge in Minnesota
recently ruled that Mr. Schon has fulfilled his support obligations in a
timely manner and above statutory guidelines.
Please let me know when you have removed the video and/or disabled the link.
Sincerely,
Paul S. Berra

Dear Cary W.,
It has been three days since I asked you to remove the false and defamatory
post regarding my client Neal Schon from the Fairfax Underground website.
Plainly and simply, Mr. Schon is not a "Deadbeat Dad" as your website
trumpets, and the publications that the poster relied upon have removed
their articles upon being informed of the true facts. You are now
knowingly contributing to the defamation of Mr. Schon.
Please remove the post immediately. If you fail to do so, Mr. Schon will
add you, your organization, and the poster as defendants in his defamation
lawsuit.
Sincerely,
Paul S. Berra

Hello Mr. Berra,
First let me apologize for the delay in responding to your request. The
post in question on Fairfax Underground simply references publications by
other media outlets regarding an ongoing and highly public legal case.
Unfortunately by matter of policy nothing is ever removed from Fairfax
Underground, only amended. As such I have amended the post in question by
attaching your requests verbatim, and adding "[Likely libelous - Legal
Challenge]" to the thread subject to denote that the information contained
therein has been challenged.
If you would like to add anything further please let me know and I will
certainly be willing to do so, or certainly invite you to make contributory
posts in the thread yourself.
Removing content outright from the internet very often exacerbates the
original problem. When users who previously read a libelous article
attempt to re-find that article only to discover that it has been removed
completely, instead of finding an explanation of its removal, instills a
belief that they simply cannot locate the original article within the
expanse of the internet, rather than assuming that something is inaccurate.
This is the proper way to clear your client's name without ambiguity.
If you have any further questions or requests please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks and enjoy!
