It's five yards, not five feet. Besides, Ryan still threw behind him regardless of the contact. Plus, Tony Gonzales was wide open in the End Zone. Just a bad decision and throw by Ryan.

There are some teams that are given favors when it comes to penalties. The 49ers are one such team, others include Dallas and New England.

Well the long catch earlier in the drive was clearly a drop. Why not complain about that huge break the refs gave to Atlanta?

It looks 50-50 for drop/catch on the sideline catch. It looked like he was down on the ground before his one hand may have temporarily knocked it loose from the other. He would then get the benefit of the doubt as he was already down.
