I recently had a conversation about hypercolor tshirts. They kinda sucked, but I still miss mine.

I miss my childhood pet.

I feel like I've maintained a fairly childlike mind, so I still get excited about silly stuff like the first snow of the winter, Christmas trees, decorating for Halloween, a clear night far from a city when you can see the Milky Way, driving my car on a warm night (well at least 55 degrees) with the top down, etc. So if I want to play with legos or have a sword fight with a cardboard tube... I will.

I miss seeing a creek or a river and having all kinds of adventures pop in my head. Now a sewer looks like a sewer.

I miss the Fig Newtons made before the early 90s. They did something to the ingredients after that, before they used to be so much richer tasting.

Drinking beer and if caught the worst the cops would do is make you pour it out. Now its a federal offense to be under 21 and throw back a brew.

We used to catch crawfish and salamanders...won't catch me near a creek or sewer now.
