I'm done believing any woman that says she's a "gamer." I've known girls who call themselves gamers, talk about how important indie games are to the industry, prattle on about how they soooo want to go to E3 someday, etc. Then you stick a controller or a mouse in their hand, and all they do is cry about how hard the game is or how badly you're kicking their ass.

Tekken games require no skill. It was designed for button mashers and girls.

Where did I say anything about D&D or reanaissance fairs? "Gamers," as the name implies, are people who play games, video or otherwise. It's like how "athlete" doesn't just mean "football player."
