Does anyone know what/who the police were searching for tonight near Brookfield elementary school?

Yeh, those were A LOT of cops....not to mention the air support....circled around for a good 45 min....

Wondering myself...

I was also wondering. I can't find anything about it. At least 10 cop cars went screaming past my house and the chopper was there too. I drove pas the elementary school just before all heck broke loose and there were a few guys in front of a school security truck pointing and talking loudly but I could not ear what they were talking about. You think it would have made the news or their twitter.

I contacted the helicopter division guys and got this response.

That afternoon, officers were chasing a serial burglary suspect who fled after being observed by a police detective. Officers apprehended the suspect later that afternoon.
