You should give it a chance. It CAN be unexpectedly intimidating, what with the road system, and a number of them which are not connected yet identically named!

It can be a nice place if you happen to meet good home owners who are decent. That is hard to discern at times, like in a lot of high growth, power-economy places.

I suspect you might be new to the area, hence this type of advice.

I hope your perspective improves, for your own happiness and well-being, which you could then pass on to others you do not know.

I say bulldoze it and make it car free, at least in the downtown urban areas.

You must drive thru instead of living in Arlington. I only take back roads and can make it anywhere quickly.

Maybe you are driving on Old Dominion Drive that is under repair? It will be paved over before year end and will be as smooth as a baby's ass.
