Attempted robbery in Sterling Park

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported robbery on East Holly Avenue/Circle Drive in Sterling Park.

According to deputies, the robbery occurred around 3:40 p.m. May 5 in the area of East Holly Avenue and Circle Drive. The victim told deputies that he was giving an unknown black male a ride in his car. The suspect then pulled a sharp instrument and took the victim’s GPS unit before fleeing from the victim’s car.

The suspect is said to be a black male wearing a maroon or red jacket with a black shirt and blue jeans.
