Comcast internet slower than a snail on weekends in LOCO

Anyone else lining in the Data Center Alley of the planet having the same issues with their internet speeds slowing to a bare crawl on Saturday and Sundays?
I tried an XFinity Speed test, it shows we have an upload speed of 0.26 mbps upload speed and 3.92 mbps sec download speed. The latency reading is 466 ms, the protocol is IPv4 and the host is located, of all places, IN RICHMOND VIRGINIA?????

We are tripping over data centers in every direction when we go out our door, why in the world are using a host down in Richmond for Loudoun County, one that obviously cannot handle the traffic here.

Yes sir, Comcast is slow. You should upgrade to XFinity.

If the slow speed is mostly on Weekends on your residential location, the bottleneck at the nearby node in your area is probably the issue. Too many users connected and too many homes being served by the same node. So if you want to get a bit technical with the Comcast/Xfinity people you can ask them to check that and find out if they will be doing a "node split" to improve service in your neighborhood.

The host being in Richmond doesn't apply in this situation.
