I recently saw a letter online addressed to Daventry folks in West(?) Springfield who have had their school redistricted from Lee to West Springfield HS. That's fine, Daventry is mostly white and Lee HS is mostly Hispanic. But why the F am my property still Lee HS when I live west of Daventry and west of Rolling Rd???

So move and do not visit Springfield town center because it is mixed too.

I understand your comment, but school district boundaries are based solely on socioeconomic status and the integration policies of the federal, state and local governments. In addition, school boards have plenty of power thanks to doctors, lawyers and ceo's. I can only assume that a few prominent new homeowners from other states persuaded the school board to change the boundary. This happens often all over the country and I cannot blame people. There is still many of us out there that do not embrace or celebrate diversity.
