Well-placed sources tell me that the moronic leadership of Grace Episcopal is going full steam ahead with plans for Shrine Mont and a full return to the building. The move is nothing short of insanity itself, as the city of Alexandria has now moved into the highest levels of COVID transmission.
IMHO, the move also violates the baptismal covenant, in which members promise to respect the dignity of every human being. But then that never was Grace’s strong suit.
Meanwhile, even with masks, it is stupid to encourage people to return to the building during this time of heightened risk.
