When will natural gas pumps be build locally? I was reading about the new civic gx but they dont offer this model on the east coast in general as they havent build the pumps yet to refuel these cars. Natural gas should be considerably cheaper and will probably qualify for emissions waiver as it doesnt produce any polution.

here is a link

Never mind, they only have refill stations in California for now. They do provide you with a portable station that can be installed in your garage and takes up to 16 hours to refuel your car. Hm, I guess you really have to be commited to living in California, no road trips for those folks.

I am convinced oil companies shell out massive amounts of money to keep this technology to a minimum.

I recently went to a third world country in South America where all gas stations have natural gas pumps.

What options do we have besides going insane?

Where do you think natural gas comes from?

hint: from oil wells

If we start driving CNG cars en masse....the oil companies will start gouging us on CNG!

I have plenty of "natural" gas available. Lots of my buddies too. Just tell us where to release it and we'll be there.

Screw alternative gas, I'd happy just to know where I can actually find regular gasoline instead of this ethanol crap.
