Which dc/maryland team is the best/has the best potential?

Caps? Wizards? Orioles? Nationals? D.C. United? Redskins? Ravens?


My choice is the Capitals.

Well considering the Wizards, Redskins and Caps made it too the playoffs, this could be a sign of change for DC sports.

well i kinda think caps if they keep their players and dc united they alway make it to the playoffs and they have won 4 cups but i hope capitals wizards redskins nationals and dcunited win every final that be so amazing hahah in every sport we win but i think it will never happen in this decade

The Wizards will make it to the play-offs in 2009 and will be out after the first series (again). Eddie Jordan and/or Gilbert Arenas will be gone after that. The Wizards will not recover and will go back to being a cellar dweller in their division.

The Redskins will finish with a losing record in 2008. Zorn will be canned and Danny S will hire Bill Cowher, who will himself have two losing seasons before getting canned. In that time, Clinton Portis will be traded to a Super Bowl-winning team (possibly the Colts) and will ensure his place as a Hall of Famer.

The Nationals will have another .400-ish season in 2008. The Lerners will wise up and fire Jim Bowden and possibly Manny Acta. They will keep Stan Kasten, who will finally convince them to pay some money for one or two ace pitchers and a good clean-up batter. They will go past .500 in 2010.

The Capitals will reach the Stanley Cup Finals in 2009.

How many Super Bowls have the Redskins won in the past 10 years? How many play-off games?

Seriously, anyone who thinks the Redskins are better than the Ravens needs some help. When was the last time the Redskins went 13-3? The Ravens did it two years ago.
