I thought it was going to be remodeled with new facades and a more contemporary look but looks like they just started leasing out stores and that will be it. Wonder why it took them so long to just lease out the stores if that's all that was going to take place. Bad economy? Some legal problems with previous leasors?

Was hoping for something more than just run of the mill retail.

Everything passed city council. They just are bringing in Elevation Burger, Firehouse Subs, Taekwando and HS Academy prior to the remodel. I heard the remodel should be done by the holidays?

Wow that's really exciting. Although to their credit, no CVS or Walgreens, or a bank! That alone is a step in the right direction, as that mall has sucked for a long time.

I was talking about Turnpike Shopping Center, btw. The one across from where Trader Joes is. Where Giant was before.
