Bicycle DUI???

Ive heard stories its possible to get a DUI while riding a bicycle drunk? any truth to this?

Bicyclists are subject to all the same rules as car drivers, so i would think so. However, if i were a judge i would prefer you to ride a bicycle drunk rather than drive a car, if there were not other options such as take a cab.

Yes, and it's no joke. A bicycle DUI carries the exact same penalties as car DUI. The judge or cop however may go a little easier on you.

I've also heard of people getting DUIs for riding on horses and tractors while drunk. I think anytime to take anything onto the road you are subject to the same rules as a car when it comes to DUI.

Also, if you're drunk enough to get a BUI, you're probably drunk enough to get a drunk and disorderly charge on you. One of my friends almost ran over a drunk pedestrian about 2-3 months after he got his license.
