Mexican Food in and Around Herndon

So, I know that not everyone was on the Tortilla Factory bandwagon, but my friend is coming up from Radford on Wednesday and that's all they want. What are local Mexican food restaurants in the area that are most comparable to the Tortilla Factory?

Not really feeling Rio Grande at RTC.

You might want to try out Picante, on Route 50 just west of Lee Road in Chantilly. Not really like Tortilla Factory, but pretty good, authentic Mexican food (not Tex-Mex or Sonoran)... Good selection of tequila and Mexican beers, also.

I was in there last week, I give it a thumbs up, really good enchiladas. (I'll admit I like Anita's better though). Good service too. The only thing I found odd was the combo I ordered (pick 1 taco and 1 enchilada), was served on two separate plates. It was a lot of food (and I was starving), but it's sort of embarrassing to be sitting there eating off two different plates.

No new Mexican but more new Central American rotisserie chicken restaurants.
