World of Beers Coming To Ballston?

These guys rule in Florida; really good craft beers, but (hello?) no (or very little) food. And now they're coming to Ballston? How are they going to pull THAT off? Buried deep in the comments is a claim that since they only do beer/wine (no hard liquor), they only have to do 5% of their sales in food (as opposed to 50%), and I've never heard of that. A limited selection of snacks won't get near 50%.

Love to see it; just kind of doubt it. The Virginia ABC isn't noted for flexibility.

My friend runs a restaurant which serves only beer and wine. The requirement is they must sell $2,000 in food each month. With beer and wine there is no percentage, that requirement comes with hard liquor. They must however offer food at all times they are open and selling booze.

From their website: http://abc.virginia.gov/licensing/abcfaq1.htm

The mixed beverage ratio is 45% - 55%. What is the ratio for wine and beer? There is no ratio for wine and beer.
