What qualifications do you need to hold public office around here?

http://ola.dc.gov/DC/OLA/About+OLA/Who+We+Are/Director's+Biography/Roxana+Olivas

Case in point is Roxana Cazares Olivas. A former hairdresser and current owner of a salon in DC somehow became the director of Latin Affairs in D.C. Appointed by none other than the impeccable Mayor Gray.

Granted Ms. Cazares Olivas graduated from the esteemed University of Phoenix and is a hairdresser so her qualifications precede her. Sickening. Position pays over 100K a year too. No wonder the government is bankrupt, they are just handing out money to any opportunist who comes along. Another interesting note is that Ms. Cazares Olivas was a bush supporter for eight years until his term ran out, than switched sides to Obama. Lol. You can't make this up folks. Also her husband, who is jewish, is now taking on a latin persona, musical interests and all, just to tie a nice bow on everything. It'd be funny if it weren't true. Lol.

University of Phoenix makes UDC look like a credible university by comparison. The degree is not worth the paper it's printed on or even as toilet paper.

On a side note judging by that picture she sure can blow, wonder what else she can do with that mouth....Very handy skill to have when navigating the political landscape.

She doesn't look too smart, the fact she's a hairdresser just about stamps that point so I don't know how she got her position. But if I were a gambling man I'd say she could suck a golfball through a hose. Can't hate on a woman with that skillset.

Alex Olivas, her husband, is a certified cocksucker, so birds of a feather. Of course his being jewish and her being latina seems like a match made in political heaven. I think Herman Cain has a better chance of winning the election than Mayor Gray has of being re-elected. Suspect hirings since he took office.

I will type slowly, as it's obvious by your poorly written message that either English isn't your first language or you are very stupid, most likely a combination of both.

Lol. I don't think she's ever dumped anyone judging by the used up look she has and the fact she settled with a fake mexican jew just confirms that.

IF you google her you will see she is listed as owner/stylist at her salon. Don't think you can do that though as you couldn't even type a one sentence message without some major grammar issues.

Does the truth hurt? Una puta es una puta. Doesn't matter if it's in politics or life.

From the article:

Note that Gore’s most serious misstep wasn’t buying money orders with illegal campaign cash — a local misdemeanor — but destroying evidence and lying to investigators, opening him up to a federal felony charge.

Shocking - the coverup is the worse than the crime. When will people learn.

Since when does religion matter when the discussion is about politics? It is irrelevant what Roxana Olivas' religion is, or her husband's. Do you have something against Jews? And the guy really looks Latino. So I don't really buy it that he's "taking on a Latin persona." Just sayin'.

If kind of sounds like a lot of people on this thread don't have a lot to say about her actual politics or how she is in office!

Her husband, the wannabe mexican barely speaks spanish and if he does it's badly accented 'gringo' spanish. He is a phony, like his hairdresser wife who got her online degree and somehow got promoted to director with no qualifications or real education. I'm sure she's as loyal to the jew as she is to her own political party, having backed Bush for 8 years she had no problems switching her affiliation when it came time to cozy up to gray. I'd guess there is an std or two in big noses future. Her political career has the same timetable as gray's, not very long.
At least the nova politicians are less obvious in their corrupt ways.

LOL WUT?

He's Lebanese. That means he's not Latino dumbazz. Because he lives in Mexico doesn't make him Latino any more than an African living in Norway is Scandinavian. lol

So someone who was born in Mexico, has lived there his whole life, has a mother born in Mexico, and Spanish is his native language is not Latino because one of his parents was a Lebanese immigrant? Every country has native born citizens who are not of the traditional ethnicity.

No. Both parents are of direct Lebanese descent; therefore, so is he. Doesn't matter where he or his parent were born and where he lived, he'll always be Lebanese as far as ethnicity/heritage goes.

As above, if a Korean moved to Norway and married another full-blooded Korean who happens to have been born in Norway, would you consider their son Scandinavian because he grew up there and spoke the language? lol

He would be considered Mexican in terms of citizenship but "Latino" would be a stretch. In the same way that someone of Hispanic descent may be a naturally born American citizen, that doesn't make them Anglo.

Now that Gray has been exposed for what he is, Roxana "hairdresser" Cazares will have to find real work. Her husband is as big a phony as she is but he does "keep it real" as is obvious from the picture below. What a sorry excuse for a fake Mexican, I bet he ain't out there when the sun goes down. Man-Man central is just good for a photo op for this clown. At night they are/were spending the over 100k Cazares was paid, despite having NO qualifications, in some posh Georgetown locale. Back to giving bad haircuts for her and for him, keeping it real is a full-time job apparently, lol.

What if your "Lebanese" parents are originally from Syria and Jordan (one of each), but they lived most of their lives in Lebanon. Are you "Lebanese" because they then moved to Mexico where you were born or are you Syrian/Jordanian? I'm just wondering how your ethnic/heritage paradigm works (how many generations do you go back?) If your ancestors crossed a land bridge from Asia into North America, are you Asian instead of being a Native American?
