How does 2.75/gal. compare?

Regular unleaded was at $2.75/gal for a national brand.

How does that compare? Seems like gas may have gone down a bit in the past week or two...

Yeah, but this was a station in Fairfax County versus PW county. Gas always seems a bit cheaper there.

...I would gladly pay 6c/gal to stay ot of PW county.

As a shareholder of Chevron, I'm glad to hear this.

Note: most of the added price in CA is taxes.

If they lowered taxes, gas wouldn't cost so much.

Thank God for the fiscal conservatives that run Virginia.

Me too, gb! I have a large block of Exxon, who reported $40.6 BILLION in profit for 2007! That's $1287.00 for every SECOND of 2007.

But I want MORE! I say raise gas prices until there is a noticeable drop in car travel....then back it off a smidge. 8, 9, 10 bucks a gallon is fine with me. I want those big dividend checks!

Don't worry DUH, in 20 years you will be wealthy beyond belief.

Energy stocks are a good place to be.

(I might even recommend picking up some financials)
