RICHMOND, Jan. 30 -- The Virginia Senate unanimously approved repealing the state's controversial abusive-driving fees Wednesday and agreed to give refunds to anyone who has begun paying the fees.

EEYYYEEEEEEAHHH!!!... saw that on tv last night, was JUST looking up news articles, thats the one i found...

edit: oh yea, i meant to mention how rediculous that whole thing was.. and im fucking ecstatic they realize that... i love the refund thing..

makes me wish i had got a ticket during that time and HAD payed driver fees, that way it'd almost feel like free money!!

That's all good and stuff, but where are they going to get money now? Ah, yes, raising taxes and fees...

The money you get refunded from your abusive driver penalty can be applied to your skyrocketing insurance, once they find out about your conviction.

Damn it.
