Places to watch Lost in NoVa

Man, I am pumped about the new season. Sure, the show can get slow and dragged down in meaningless melodrama in the middle of the season, but when Lost is on its game, it is great. You guys psyched about Lost's season premiere Jan 31?

I'm in the middle of season 3 right now and will have to DVR the first few episodes before i catch up, so, shhhhhhhhhhh.... no spoilers!

It's good stuff.

I used to love that show - in season 1. Then they started adding all these new characters and making it too confusing. I tried to watch last season but the show came on so sporadically and I just couldn't get into it. Now I can't even remember it. I do love Hurley though.
I always wonder if Hurley is on a desert island and food is scarce, then how come he is still so fat? And what is up with that polar bear?? And whatever happened to Vincent, the dog belonging to Walt's son??

The scariest scene that still sometimes gives me nightmares is the priest skeleton in that small plane that was hanging in the tree. It was so creepy.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

>I always wonder if Hurley is on a desert island and food is scarce, then how come he is still so fat?

He kept a big stash of food hidden in the jungle. Keep in mind that the first 3 seasons only covered 3-4 months. A guy his size would still be pretty huge.

> And what is up with that polar bear??

That's all just part of the mystery. There is no explanation for it.

>And whatever happened to Vincent, the dog belonging to Walt's son??

The dog left the island with Michael and Walt when they cut a deal with The Others at the end of season 2. I'm glad that Michael subplot is over, his backstory was boring.

Locke is the best character, I give props to the original poster for using his name.

EDIT: Trickie, I should also add that I though Season 1 was the worst season so far.

re: hurley, they've only been on the island for 70 days. You dont lose 100 pounds in 70 days, even on rations of fruit, fish, and pig. But as someone pointed out above, he did hide food.

I have to disagree with you there, Meeps. I thought season one was incredible. I had never been so hooked on a show after watching the first couples episodes on DVD.

Thats just my opinion. Arguing about LOST is pointless.

I personally like stories that meander in no particular direction and have lots of plot twists that seem to go nowhere or take millennia to resolve. I also like conspiracy stuff so this show fills all my tv needs that are not filled by gritty urban crime dramas.

TV just sucks nowadays. Most of the time I have the tv on, I'm either watching reruns of old shows, movie channels, or non-dramatic works such as Real Sports or Human Weapons. Reality tv and badly-written commercial tv have made prime time a joke.

I HATE LOST I HATE IT I HATE IT!! My friends watch it and I don't get it. It's so fucking stupid, I'd rather do something else with my time. Now videogames, those are fun CAUSE I"M INTERACTING and play a role. I just plain fucking hate 95% of the stuff on tv these days.
