No one in there right mind should be able to say that someone deserved to die, especially if they do not even know that person. The guy clearly had a drinking problem—two DUIs in under two years, and it was his alcohol consumption that ultimately did him in.

The signs were there for anyone who cared to see them.

But now he's not living—truly or otherwise. And those of you who saw the signs and could have done something, but instead dismissed them as the mistakes of youth—you're left with your guilt and your regret as well as your grief.

Can someone please tell me what really happened to this kid? All I see are insults back and forth and people disagreeing on whether he died in a car wreck. What happened?

He attended a local university. The officials at the university are only saying in campus email that it was an "untimely passing" and that he passed away on Saturday.
There are no details as to the cause.

How are the kids at school doing? Jordan had a lot of friends on campus and they would do anything to turn back time. Everyone from his hometown is praying for him and his family.

Dear sad mother,
We just got an official notice today via email. It simply mentioned his passing and his hometown.
ODU has a large number of students as you know, but the lose of any student is a loss to all of us. I suspect there will be a memorial for him on campus soon.
I work closely with students all the time and can't imagine if one were to suddenly be gone. It's the same way I feel about my own kids.
I haven't met a bad student on this Campus in ten years. I can honestly say anyone of them is inspiring and corageous for all the hard work they must endure to achive their goals.
Jordan will be missed, I'm sure he did have many friends here, I'm glad he had the chance to experience ODU and enjoy our campus and make all those friends who will never forget him.
Rejoice in his life.

NORFOLK

A fourth man has died as a result of a weekend crash along Interstate 64.

Jarrell L. Rainey, 21, of Newport News died Monday night in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Virginia State Police said today.

The four men were going east shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday and were near Chesapeake Boulevard when their car ran off the road and went into a ditch, police said.

Clarence R. Hill of Norfolk and Terrell D. Cherry of Newport News both died at the scene. Both were 22. Brian C. Hermann, 21, of Newport News died at the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
