Hey everyone any yall know of a gym with liftin platforms/rubberized weights where I can perform powercleans deadlifts etc. I guess more of an athletically oriented gym rather than the commercial gyms. Im tired of my sport and health experience where theres one squat rack and one bench press but 50 treadmills.

I live in herndon but i wont mind travelig 10 miles or so for an athletic gym

google, perhaps you've heard of it?

The Gold's in Chantilly and Manassas have powerlifting platforms, rubber plates, and a few racks.

fitness first and gold's and chantilly allow it, although they dont have any bumpers and it can get crowded, esp. fitness first. Even though Gold's feels more commercial, it's got more racks.

I was trying to figure out why I didn't like this thread, and I'm pretty sure it's due to the use of "perform" at the gym. I'll move along now.

The fitness first is the one at Tysons, they have a team that lifts out of there, Team Force, they were supposed to be getting a platform...
