At least choking dogs fight for life. This team didn't even show up! They shouldn't have even bothered winning the first round.
As far as I can tell, the first changes should be as follows...
1 - No more "Rock the Red", this team's motto is "Rock the Brown"!
2 - Get rid of Slapshot as the mascot, this mascot is much more appropriate...

Remember when the Caps imploded in Game 7 against the Pens a couple of years ago? This was the same thing...only over four consecutive games against a far less talented team.

i cant but laugh at the choking.
i used to say they were the eagles of the nhl, but atleast the eagles got to the nfc championship and choked.
somewhere deep down, i bet snyder paid leonisis good money so there isnt a good dc sports team.
oh well, maybe next year (and the year after) right caps fans?

yes, in the 90s. I have yet to see this team get there and lose. Then again they have a smart business plan. Make the team good enough that they sellout, but suck enough to not win the stanley cup. its $$$.

Heard Boudreau on the radio this morning. He said he thinks the Caps will win a Stanley Cup in the near future and "hopes to be a part of it."
Sounds to me like Mr. Boudreau's future employment is under review.

I think he is being humble because he knows that right now he has a 50/50 chance at sticking around or beating feet. I'd like for him to stay and win one, but maybe that isn't meant to be. Maybe his job in Washington was to put the pieces in place for the next guy to coach them to the cup. I don't know, but I hope that we continue to do well and maybe not peter out so early in the post-season next season.
