I don't get it. It's like every week some fruitcake is pulling down his pants somewhere in public. What kind of freaks are these? I wonder if these are really attempted rapes where the perp got scared. WTF?

IMHO the problem is based in cultures that repress women or expound machismo. In USA I suspect the problem relates to feelings of inadequate sexuality, low self-esteem, and other dysfunctional family situations.

Maybe if America wasn't so incredibly sexually frustrated, there wouldn't be so many perverts and pedophiles causing a ruckus

Interesting observation jujaham. The American continent is a pretty big place and has many cultures. However, I don't believe the USA mores suppress women and project manhood vendettas.

Yes, we live in a very permissive and pluralistic society. A double-edged sword. Unfortunately, many immigrants come from vastly different societies and cultures--in some, women are second or third class citizens; in others, machismo is the word. Check the list of police arrests for more information. Unfortunately, there are sick puppies in the amalgam--a problem of nature and nurture (à la the Möbius strip).
