Hello, 911. I am in labor and need a fast ride to the hospital. Can you send someone to pick me up who is allowed to drive fast and has lights and siren?

Hmmm I know ambulance rides cost money in Fairfax. I wonder if this ticket was a wash?

Is it even legal to drive while in labor? I mean, I've never had a baby but it seems to me that it would be rather dangerous to be driving during a contraction. Failure to pay full attention at the very least?

believe me, it's hard for soon-to-be-dad to drive with full time and attention with wife in labor too. not sure it would make much difference who is driving especially when shit starts to go down in peak traffic times

All the more reason to call 911 and have professional emergency medical people who can tend to the woman in labor while they rush, legally, in an ambulance to the hospital!!!
