If it was for food at/from a restaurant, they have an additional 4% meals tax.

yeah, fairfax city taxes everything as much as they can. im waiting for the sidewalk tax... you know, for walking on their sidewalks. i hope someone burns that whole area down. on a side note, the place is so ass backwards that it's faster to drive around fairfax city than through it.

You are going to be taxed anywhere in NoVa. Some towns and Ffx city may be higher. Deal with it.
So I had to pa 1 extra penny for each doolar of my dinner, now I'm broke. I won't eat in Ffx. City ever again...............
BTW, the Drive-Thru Tax is Highger too because the expect that you'll throw garbage on the road.
If you can't afford it, MOVE!
