Saw the remains of the accident this morning on my way into work. Looked like an Acura MDX plowed through a VW Passat. Looked really bad, and they even had westbound traffic from 50 going down the service road at Brookfield to continue down 50. Anyone have a link to it?

Came upon the accident at 5:00 a.m. this morning walking my dogs. Lees corner rd was blocked off at Hollinger Avenue by Lees corner Elementary by Fairfax County Police investigating this accident.

yea saw this as well. Took me about 30 min to go a 1/4 mile. 5:30 to 6:00

2) age is a factor - the 71 year old.

T boning car is usually indicative of one having driven illegally...

It appears the 21 year old was an Au Pair from Germany. This maybe her. Says she lives in Sterling so probably going Lee to Rt50 to Rt28. They must suspect the 21 year old because it says no charges have been filed. If the 71 year old was drunk we would see a DUI charge or alcohol may of been a factor.

I'm guessing the 21 year old was texting something like "X just made out with me" and missed the light. People get texting and driving becomes a second priority.

How big are those lots? Not much of a yard if you have kids...the surface area of the pipestem is larger than the grassy areas.
