Yes, the Fairfax County Police Dept. has equipped many of its patrol cars with the Lo-Jack antennas (since the early 90's) to track stolen vehicles.

So that must be one of the many antennas on the patrol car.. I wonder what they all are.

Cruisers with Lo-Jack have a series of antennas on the roof. They are/can be mounted underneath the helicopters as well.

Wonder, no more.

Do the ffx police care about real crime? They waste their time and our tax money intimidating speeders and drunks, but let gangs run around with machetes.

The LoJack cars have four one foot antennas arranged in a square.
