The Silver Parrot in Old Town Alexandria if you love silver. It's not cheap, but absolutely stunning pieces.

Ronnie Mervis, because nobody pays retail anymore, sucka ! But seriously, Mervis Diamond Importers provide me with a comfort zone matched by no other jeweler. The fact that his brothers Ned and Zed body scan and deep cavity search each and every kaffir exiting the mines leaves me knowing I am getting the best selection possible. Even the seldom heard of "slow" brother who they never mentioned, has purportedly been trained in falconry, lest one of the natives tries the old Homing Pigeon gambit.

Quinns Goldsmith Inc in Occoquan. I have been here a few times and they have always been great.

Don't Laugh but Khols has great diamonds with papers, and the have crazy low prices.....

Nowadays we have a great amount of online jewelry stores. I guess, your choice should depend on the item you want to buy. Personally I'm a biker and I like wearing massive rings, chains and bracelets. Recently I have bought this sterling silver skull biker cuff. I should say, the store is really good and offers many beautiful things. I hope you will find what you need there!
