Hi guys,

could someone explain the tip system to me.
I got a friend who is trying to work as a busser and the whole system is new to him and me.

He gets tip at closing? Next day? How much tip should he expect from a place like say Clydes....

waiters gotta "tip out" a certain % of their tips at the end of the night.. thats gets split up between the cooks, hostesses, bus boys, and everyone else who don't get tips directly.. and since the bus boys are usually gone before servers - he'd get it the next day..

clydes prolly has pretty good tippers..
