I will regret posting this if it end up that this guy is legitimate, but something looks fishy.

I have seen a man at various intersections going back months now collecting money for what appears to be The Boys and Girls Club. He holds out a bucket with their name on it and wears some sort of badge around his neck. He also wears a bright orange vest. He is about 6 feet, 180 lbs, maybe late 20's and he is bald.

I saw him Saturday at the intersection at the bottom of the ramp in front of Springfield Metro. Other weekends he has been in front of the firehouse at Backlick on the exit ramp from Parkway and also out in Saratoga at Rolling and Alban Road.

He has been doing this for awhile and probably has collected thousands of dollars. It just seems an odd way for a reputable non-profit like Boys & Girls Club to go about fundraising.

Anyone know anything?

Did you call the Boys and Girls Club to ask if they had someone fundraising at these intersections? Why ask us?

I have noticed the same guy , I saw him at intersection of lee hwy, gallows.
