If you are still running the 2nd generation firestick you need to purchase the 3rd generation one. If you are already running 3rd gen then your internet is just running slow. Maybe time for a new router. Just so you know Amazon sells both of these things.

First of all, try to reload your Firestick, sometimes it helps. Also, it would be great to clear the cache. If you don't know how to do that, here is a guide https://www.firesticktricks.com/clear-cache-on-firestick.html. Also, make sure your internet connection is stable. There are many sites to do a speed test.

If at all possible you should hard wire your firestick. Don't clog up the wifi.
