VDOT was out in the Fairfax area last evening spraying the roads prior to our upcoming Sunday winter storm. I was a bit surprised to see them out there, 72 hours before this event starts. Then again, I'm sure after the incident with I-95 being closed for an extended period, VDOT got their asses reamed for not properly preparing for snow events.

I am still going to scout out a ditch ahead of time.

The Youngkin transition team met with VDOT Weds and made it clear that the Northam shitshow was over and malfeasance would not be tolerated. He also told them that they didn't need to worry about being fired if they don't want to get vaxxed. Lots of VDOT people back on the job and happy now.
