Spending $4-5000 for a whole house generator when power goes out once every 5 years is like people in South Carolina buying a snow blower for once every decade snow shower. The power was off for 99% of the homes for about 2 hours. No need to spend tons.

When the power goes out for longer periods of time you will be thankful you made the investment. Every 5 or 6 years we have a situation where the power is off for a day or longer.
Wait until Biden puts our power grid on pure wind power.

When the power goes out for longer periods of time you will be thankful you made the investment. Every 5 or 6 years we have a situation where the power is off for a day or longer.
Wait until Biden puts our power grid on pure wind power.
