do local ABC stores sell 70-proof Japanese sake?(high alcohol content sake)

I bought a couple when I visited a Japanese supermarket in Los Angeles last
month... great stuff... since it had almost twice the alcohol content as
regular sake, it was great... but I can't seem to find it anywhere around
here.... :(

No idea. Why not go to an ABC store and look? It's not like they're hard to find.

You may have to special order something like that. How much of a hurry are you in? Might be quicker to go to DC or MOCO. On the upside I have special ordered oddball stuff from ABC stores on several occasions. I think they have access to fairly good wholesale distributors or something.

There is a International Asian Market in Gaithersburg MD that sells Sake

I wish they sell Chu-Hi :( (i miss japan)
