For those who remember the Connaught Place in Fairfax, you might be disappointed in Rangoli in South Riding. The ex-manager over at Connaught (god rest it's soul) is now working over in Rangoli alongside some familiar wait staff. I just ate the Sunday buffet. It was ok and while the food was reminescent, it was by no means as good. I've heard the owner of Connaught moved to Honolulu. Any one know an equal around? That Chicken Tikki Masala was to die for.

Also finally ate the burger and cheese steak at Buffalo Wing University. While not extraordinary, it was pretty good. I would recommend this place for a good solid bar menu and good beer (admittedly I've only had the Guiness and Hefeweizen)
