A lot of politicians had booths at the Vienna Festival today. Including you, though as far as I could tell you were not there personally. But while all the others followed the rules* and stayed in their booths, your people walked up and down the street forcing balloons and stickers on everyone they could. It was annoying. Many accepted graciously just to escape, then let the balloons sail into the sky, and the stickers went in the next available trash can.

A message, for what it's worth: You may not want the reputation that you break the rules simply because you can. Annoying people is not how to gain their vote.

Please try to do better on Monday.

This reminds me of when Democrat goons were overseeing the last Fairfax election and they would proudly wear their party affiliation on their shirt. Election assistants were supposed to be as impartial as can be.

What Rusty posted above happened to me here in Fairfax County as well. Election volunteers were NOT impartial, and these were older volunteers. Liberals. There's nothing like going to vote and getting hassled/belittled by old liberals who think they are so unprejudiced and better than those who might hold different political views. They are pathetic.

Can't say I blame him. I'd be doing the same thing, I guess, if I knew I was going to get trashed in the election.

By the way, d-bag also put up no less than 1,000 signs by Madison High School on the 123 median. Someone better clean that shit up when the election is over.

I noticed the signs along 123, which are embarrassing for a supporter of Connolly. You would think holding back on a few signs and not plastering the entire median with hundreds of signs might occur to the posters, but the Oakton/Providence area is his back yard, so his staff is going to be extra vigilant in getting his material out there.

I support him, but he doesnn't need to push that hard, I mean, really, Fimian? Herrity? Both of them are jokes.
