Commuting from Ashburn, VA to Bethesda MD

My wife and I are currently living in Rockville, MD. She works in Chantilly and I work in Bethesda. I was wondering if anyone new how long it would take for me to commute to Bethesda, leaving Ashburn at either 6:30 a.m. or 9:00 a.m.?

My guess would be the average of an hour. Also remember they are going to increase the toll on the Greenway to something like $3

Actually, they proposed $4.80 each way at the Main Greenway Plaza to be gradually stepped-up this fall until 2009. Not bad considering the proposed costs of the HOT lanes on the Beltway for those south of Springfield. From Rt. 234 to the Pentagon was something like $20-22 each way to avoid traffic using a transponding device similar to the SmartTag. -§

Still not as bad as someone I know that does Baltimore to Reston everyday.

So the way I have it figured, doing the math, that commute would be $500 a month.

($10 Greenway toll + $15 dollars gas) X 20 days = $500 a month
