Heard a rumor that a Reston private school has been shut down by the county due to a flu outbreak. Anyone confirm this? What percentage of students must it affect for this to happen? How often does this occur countywide?

Private schools can more or less make their own rules when it comes to closures due to illness. I don't know about specific schools, but usually if 10-20+% of students are out sick, the CDC gets called and additional staff are called in to do a thorough cleaning. It's happened in a bunch of states this year. In a county the size of FCPS, it would probably have to get REALLY bad before they'd close schools.

Better not, its not really school, its child day-care. How can I traipse around Target in Target drinking my starbucks in yoga pants and then fuck my trainer before I pick up my rotten crotch fruit?
