STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — A man seen wearing a KKK outfit outside of a Target caused quite the stir in Stafford Marketplace Tuesday afternoon.
Stafford County deputies say they responded to reports of seeing the man in the KKK uniform around 2:30 p.m. and say they made contact with him.
"As units arrived on scene, they were able to identify the black male as a subject that did not live in Stafford County," the sheriff's office said in a video tweet.
Deputies say he told them he was "conducting a social experiment." He went on to further state "if yall see any niggas round here yall send 'em my way."
He was warned by deputies not to wear the mask in public and deputies say he has since left that area.
